Coming soon

Your whole day.Your whole squad.

Training, meals, mindset, purpose and sleep, kept together in one calm app. And a simple way to share what works with the people you lead, coach and train beside.

IThe problem

Why was Thursday like that?

Workouts in one app. Meals in another. Sleep on your watch. Stress, nowhere at all. So when a week goes sideways, there is no way to see why. The pieces never meet.

IIOne ordinary day

Five parts of one day, finally in one place.

A ruck and trail shoes by an open front door at dawn, a spaniel waiting beside them.A garage gym at sunrise with the door rolled open: kettlebells, a rowing machine, plyo boxes and gymnastic rings, mountains outside. An outdoor calisthenics park at sunrise with pull-up bars, parallettes, rings and a dog sniffing the grass.
6:40 am

Plan the session. Log it with one thumb.

Build one session or the whole week. Log a set and the rest timer starts on its own. Runs, rides and rucks have a place of their own, and what you planned stays apart from what you did.

A sunny kitchen counter with a pan of vegetables and rice and a stack of meal-prep containers, a spaniel peeking over the edge.
11:30 am

Feed the whole household, once.

Plan the week’s meals for everyone at your table, and the shopping list writes itself, sorted by section of the store. Tell Squad-ish what you avoid, and we check every ingredient against your list.

Planned is not eaten: food counts only when you log it. Nutrition figures are estimates.

A quiet living room at golden hour with a floor cushion, a mug of tea and a spaniel asleep on the rug.
3:10 pm

Five quiet minutes, on purpose.

Short guided sessions for when the day grows loud, each with a reading edition if you would rather not listen. And a few calm games for the space between meetings.

A wooden desk at sunset with an open notebook, a pen and a mug of coffee, the city and mountains outside.
6:20 pm

Remember what the effort is for.

Seven practices to return to whenever you choose. Goals, in your own words. A look back at what you wrote and what you did, so the good weeks are never lost.

10:30 pm

Log the night, or let your watch do it.

Record your sleep yourself, or bring your nights in from Apple Watch through Apple Health. Once a week, a quiet summary of how the nights went, with no grade attached.

IIIThe week

Then step back, and look at the whole week.

Training, meals, mindset, purpose and sleep, side by side. Patterns begin to surface: the short night before the heavy day, the missed lunch before the hard evening.

Squad-ish never tells you what caused what. It lays the week out, and the meaning is yours to decide.

Publish it once. Your people make it their own.

A personal trainer writes a training block, and every client follows it. A food creator shares a week of recipes, and everyone who follows them cooks along. Training partners keep each other honest. Whoever you are, you bring the plan into your own week and make it your own.

VWhere it started

It started with one soldier.

Five rucks lined up on a pickup tailgate at sunrise, with stacked meal containers and water bottles on a cooler, a misty field and mountains behind.

While serving as a squad leader in the US Army, I watched one of my soldiers struggle with his weight and his fitness. When I tried to help, I realised no one had ever shown him what proper nutrition and proper training actually look like.

So I began sending him what I could: workout programs, meals, videos, notes. It helped. But it lived in a scatter of texts and links, and one thought kept returning.

There is a better way to do this.

I believe the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness program, H2F, is one of the most complete approaches to health there is. It treats five things as one: physical, nutritional, mental, spiritual and sleep. We call the spiritual domain purpose, so it holds whatever you believe.

I wanted that for everyone, not only soldiers. Squad-ish brings all five together, and lets anyone who leads, coaches or trains with others share what works.
